UEFA clears Ibrahimovic to face Barcelona
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be available for both legs of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final meeting with Barcelona after UEFA halved his two-match ban on appeal. The Sweden striker was sent off for a challenge on Valencia midfielder Andres Guardado in the first leg of PSG's last-16 tie with Valencia and missed the return leg in Paris. But following an appeal by the French side, Ibrahimovic can now face his former club in Paris next Tuesday. The 31-year-old has scored 27 goals for PSG since arriving from Milan last summer.

McManaman in fitness battle to face Norwich
Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed Callum McManaman is still being troubled by an ankle injury ahead of Saturday's Premier League visit of Norwich. With no disciplinary action being taken against the 21-year-old forward over his controversial tackle on Massadio Haidara in the 2-1 league win over Newcastle on March 17, he is eligible for selection this weekend. However, Martinez has now revealed that McManaman could miss Saturday's match after sustaining an ankle injury in the FA Cup win over Everton.

Nigel Adkins confirmed as new Reading boss
Reading have confirmed Nigel Adkins as their new manager following the dismissal of Brian McDermott earlier this month. Just 67 days after his surprise sacking by Southampton, Adkins has returned to the Premier League and penned a three-year deal at the Madejski Stadium. Reading are seven points adrift of safety with just eight matches remaining. After a trip to Arsenal on Saturday, Adkins' first home game in charge will be against former employers Southampton a week later.

Armin Veh extends contract with Eintracht
Eintracht Frankfurt and coach Armin Veh agreed on a contract extension for one year. Veh, whose previous deal was due to expire in June, had been strongly linked with a move to Schalke but now he remains in Frankfurt until June 2014. After joining Eintracht in the summer of 2011, the 52-year-old led the team to promotion to Germany's top flight in his first season. His side currently occupies fourth position. Veh won the Bundesliga with Stuttgart in 2007.
